The main street of Casino comes alive for the festival, with food, markets, live music, entertainment, competitions, rides, a street parade and plenty of appearances from the stars of the show – the cattle and farmers!  The rodeo and horse races add to the action, while farm tours provide an opportunity to escape to the country and learn about the local farming practices and the paddock to plate process.

For the industry, the festival is one of the largest and longest running beef events in Australia. There are plenty of opportunities to network, share and exchange knowledge, and learn about the latest industry developments at one of the seminars, cattle sales and beef competitions. Casino is also central to a number of other primary industries and manufacturing enterprises, including the NSW Sugar Mill, Richmond Dairies, Riverina Stock Feeds, New World Foods, and the Casino Food Co-Op. Casino Beef Week is where all the action happens!

Casino is located in the Richmond Valley in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. The festival provides the perfect opportunity to explore this stunning pocket of Australia, which is located an easy drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and just 40 minutes from Byron Bay.
