Festival theme announced
The theme for the 2018 NCMC Casino Beef Week festival has been announced and aligns with the 2018-2020 festival strategy and vision to connect, learn, taste, celebrate. Event organisers decided to kick things off by celebrating this exciting time and chose the 2018 Casino Beef Week theme...
"Celebrate Rural Australia"
Casino Beef Week President Stuart George was excited to announce the 2018 theme "Celebrate Rural Australia" at the 100 Day Launch on Thursday 15 February at the Casino RSM Club.
“Celebrate Rural Australia is a great theme and gives everyone a broad range of ideas for the annual dress up competition and street parade," said Stuart.
This year's theme will follow through in topics for seminars, industry talks and other social events. The festival is the perfect opportunity for visitors to explore our region, celebrate rural Australia and enjoy an authentic country experience.
For everyone who loves nothing more than to dress up for Beef Week, now is the time to get your school, business or organisation involved. With less than 100 days to go, put your thinking caps on and start brainstorming for award-winning costumes and displays.

- Get your cow boy boots out, put on a big hat and belt buckle.
- Or dress your staff or kids in their all time favourite Aussie icons... the options are endless!
This year’s festival will be taking place from 19 - 29 May with tickets on sale and registrations opening very soon.
