TRAVEL TO AND FROM THE BEEF WEEK FESTIVAL

Are you coming to Beef Week? Forget searching for parking and take advantage of the local festival shuttle busses - the most convenient way to get to Beef Week, thanks to Hertz Northern Rivers.

Shuttle busses will be running on the following days:

EVANS HEAD SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE

Hertz Northern Rivers will be offering a shuttle bus service in Evans Head on Sunday 20 May. Park your car at Stan Payne Oval in Evans Head and catch the shuttle for Evans Head’s Beef Meets Reef. Running from 10am until 3pm between Stan Payne Oval and Oak Street, Evans Head. Gold coin donation with proceeds going to the Westpac Helicopter Service.

Hertz Northern Rivers will also be offering a shuttle bus to and from Evans Head to Casino on the following days. View timetable below. Limited seats available. Book now by contacting the Woodburn Evans Head RSL Club (02) 6682 4282. Limited seats available.

  • Beef Week Races on Friday 25 May: departing The Bowlo @ 11am & Evans Head RSL @ 11.15am. Return from the Casino Racecourse after the last race @ approx. 4pm. Cost: $10pp return fare.
  • Beef Week Saturday 26 May: departing The Bowlo @ 10am & Evans Head RSL @ 11.15am. Return to Evans Head from the Cecil Hotel in Casino @ approx. 4pm. Cost: $10pp return fare.

CASINO CBD SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE

Make sure you avoid parking issues in the Casino CBD on the main Saturday and jump on one of our free shuttle busses in Casino. Hertz Northern Rivers will be offering two different 30mins shuttle bus options to and from the Casino CBD on the main Beef Week Saturday 26 May.

The Casino bus shuttles will run from 8am to 12n and 1pm to 3pm. Gold coin donation only. Check the two shuttle bus loops out below.

Casino South/Gays Hill Line will take you from over South, Crawford Square, Charles Ave and many more stops to Casino Library – where busses will drop visitors to all the action in the Casino CBD. View stops below:
