Casino Beef Week offers visitors an opportunity to meet our farmers and take an educational behind the scenes farm tour on Monday 21 May. Experience a guided walk around the grounds of local farms and gain firsthand knowledge of their daily farming practises.
An educational journey covering everything you ever wanted to know about the local beef industry and a working stud cattle farm. Two farms, nestled in the Richmond Valley in Northern NSW, about 15 min drive South East of Casino and 50mins from Byron Bay, will open their doors for Beef Week.
Enjoy a visit to the Lyle Family Angus Farm, a family owned and run operation located in the tough forest country. The Lyle family has been raising registered Angus cattle for over 25 years. Afterwards the tour will take you to the Mogul Brahman Stud, located in Yorklea. Mogul is known for innovation and is NSW's longest established Brahman stud.
Running on Monday 21 May. The tour includes transport, morning tea and lunch.
