2025 Festival Theme
This year, we are proud to unveil the theme: Secrets Of The Museum. This theme encourages curiosity, storytelling, and exploration. It will offer a unique combination of history, mystery, and discovery while drawing inspiration from ancient civilisations, iconic artifacts, and famous characters. Think Trojans, Egyptian pharaohs and mummies, astronauts, explorers, famous inventors, detectives, athletes, and families. It is a theme full of hidden treasures and forgotten history.
​Each year, the businesses, schools, and people of Casino fully embrace the chosen theme for Casino Beef Week, turning the town into a vibrant and creative celebration of all things beef and community spirit.

Businesses
Local businesses decorate their shopfronts to reflect the theme, often competing in the Window Dress Up Competition that runs during the festival. Decorations can include themed window displays, props, posters, and even life-sized cutouts related to the theme. Staff members also get involved by dressing up in costumes that match the theme, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for visitors and locals alike.
Schools
Our local schools across Casino incorporate the theme into classroom activities and parade floats. Students and teachers dress up and celebrate Beef Week within their school community. Many schools also participate in the Brenda Armfield Street Parade, where they showcase their creativity with themed floats, banners, and performances.
Community and General Public
Locals take great pride in joining in on the festivities. During the Brenda Armfield Street Parade, residents and community groups go all out with costumes, floats, and displays that match the year’s theme. Some individuals even dress up their pets or vehicles to add to the fun!
The chosen theme for each year brings a unique twist to the festival, making every Casino Beef Week special and exciting. Whether it’s a carnival theme or classic Australian theme, the entire town gets involved to celebrate in style!
